Bangladesh: Hindu minor girl abducted, coerced to convert & marry Islamist

Hindu 13 years old girl Aishi Saha was abducted and forcibly converted to Islam before being married to her Muslim abductor, Muhammad Kamrul Islam. Despite her parents’ desperate attempts to recover her, the local police have been uncooperative, further deepening their distress.

This case highlights the systematic targeting of Hindu girls, who are often abducted, forcibly converted and married to increase the Muslim population in Bangladesh. Hindu families are left powerless, unable to protect their daughters from such exploitation.
