Mocking him, his faith, his holy places, Kumbh etc. Imagine if he had said same in return about Hajj & prophet..
Pakistani Hindu MP faces mockery of his religion and culture in a live TV discussion
In a shocking display of disrespect, a Pakistani TV anchor and Muslim panelists mocked Hindu politician Ramesh Kumar Wankwani during a live discussion, ridiculing his faith, religious practices and holy places, like the Kumbh Mela. Despite his objections, the taunting continued, underscoring the intolerance Hindus face in Pakistan, even at the highest levels of representation. If an elected representative is treated this way, the plight of ordinary Hindus is unimaginable.
This incident highlights Pakistan’s institutionalized propaganda against Hindus. From media to public discourse, belittling Hindu religion, culture and practices is normalized. The state and general public remain apathetic, enabling such mockery to persist unchecked, further alienating the minority community and fostering an environment of utter disrespect.
Ironically, if a Hindu dared to comment on Islamic practices, the response would be swift and violent, with accusations of blasphemy leading to severe consequences like mob-lynching and gruesome death, in the Islamic nation. This double standard reflects the systemic inequality and the precarious existence of Hindus in Pakistan.
This is what they do to a Hindu member of parliament on TV. Imagine what they would be doing to common Hindu in Pakistan.
