Pakistan: Little boy brutally raped, murdered & body dumped in garbage
Khanewal, Punjab-
4 years old Muhammad Sameer was found dead in a garbage dump, with his clothes torn, scratches, wounds and abrasions all over his body and blood oozing out from his anal region, nose and mouth, revealing extremely brutal rape and horrendous torture.
The brutal rape & murder of the little kid has raised serious concerns about safety of children and the alarming negligence of authorities in Pakistan. The dead body showed signs of severe trauma- bite marks, blood clots and blackened hit marks. The unfortunate little kid died an extremely painful and gory death.
The devastated parents of little Sameer and the locals demand immediate justice for him, but the infamous Pakistani police apathy, inaction and lack of sensitivity regarding these kind of incidents is notoriously known. The parents will have to prepare themselves for a long struggle for justice, but nothing could possibly fill the void in their lives.
The case reflects a troubling pattern of Pakistani societal apathy toward ever-increasing brutality in crimes against little kids. Without serious cultural and systemic change in near or distant future, many crimes will continue to go unnoticed or shrugged off under the carpets in Pakistan.
