The tragic murder of Hindu widow Diya Bheel (44) sparked outrage in the Islamic nation. Her mutilated and beheaded body, with her skin peeled off and breasts chopped, was found abandoned in the fields. Her 4 children, searching for her after hours of absence, discovered the horrific crime scene, raising suspicions that she was killed elsewhere and dumped in the fields to conceal the act.
Adding to the tragedy, her children and family now face relentless threats from the local influential Islamist Sanah Sahib and his goon Khabar Khan. The Islamist thugs are threatening the Hindu family to vacate the village, while baseless accusations entrap them in their mother’s murder. This calculated oppression highlights the abuse of the power of Islamists to silence and subjugate the marginalized Hindu community.
The silence of Pakistani state speaks volumes, as it stands complicit with the Islamist elites in perpetuating injustice and oppression on the minorities. This appalling disregard for humanity reinforces systemic inequality, leaving the vulnerable religious minorities defenseless and marginalized. Diya’s case is a grim reminder of the cost of state apathy and unchecked power in Islamist Pakistan.
